Perfectly stated! Thanks for clearing that up. I still love Brent, but he does have too many flaws. Keith's chops more than made up for his lack of songwriting. Whenever I hear a Brent song during a show I just think about what songs they could have played in it's place.

And a big thanks to gratefuldiver for all the great suggestions!

You're most welcome! I've been a 'member' of this community for several years and receiving validation from this group seems more difficult than obtaining GDM/Rhino's approval for IA to allow streaming-only outtakes from a show that included a couple songs on a Road Trips release.

(I agree with everything else said about Brent's keyboard skills compared to Keith's.) As for original material, I'd take "Let Me Sing Your Blues Away" over every one of Brent's saccharine ballads or hate-filled diatribes.
